Who doesn’t love monthly subscription boxes?! A ton of new products through your letterbox every month, tailored to your needs, for LESS than you would pay in the shops?! HELL YEA. I love me a good subscription box – I’m a long standing fan of Glossybox, have recently discovered The Blogger Beauty Box, sort out my razor problem with FFShaving and now… to tackle the issue every girl has to deal with…. THAT time of the month! *Drum roll pls* Introducing….. PINK PARCEL!
Let me start this off simply: Pink Parcel is basically a period subscription box. Hear me out. It’s not as strange as it probably sounds. Every month (on a date of your choice from 3 delivery dates – brownie points for understanding everyone’s body has different cycles!) a box is delivered with different boxes packed inside…
First up, there is a box full of the sanitary items you’ve chosen. You can choose from all sorts of products – tampons, pads, pads with wings, smaller liners… there’s a lot of choice. You can even get half and half tampons and pads – it is literally fully customisable to your preference. I was really surprised with the quantity & quality of the sanitary items too – the tampons I got were Always pearl, plastic applicator tampons (these are the ones I normally go for in the shop, which are like £5 a box). I can’t remember exactly how many tampons and pads were in my box, but if my memory is correct there were around 8 pads and a further 8-10 tampons.
There is also a little black bag with a drawstring, full of even more tampons and also some small daily liners. The black bag says ‘for now… keep these in your bag’ in pink writing. SO cute and super discreet if you need to nip to the loo whilst at work etc!
In addition to all the above, there’s yet another little box inside that is for night time. This one is full of some larger night pads! This was a nice little unexpected surprise as it means you are fully stocked up on whatever you might need that month – leaving no room for nasty surprises or accidents!
Obviously, the main focus of Pink Parcel is to supply sanitary products to you on a monthly basis meaning you no longer have to worry about popping to the shop or running out of tampons, but wait… there’s more… Pink Parcel is ALSO a beauty box! Yep – that’s right – in addition to ALL of the above, you also get a selection of beauty products in the box… as well as a chocolate treat and speciality tea bag each month.
In July’s box I got: Jelly Pong Pong Supercharged Eyeshadow, The Vintage Cosmetics Company Rose Gold Slanted Tweezers, Lottie London Nail Polish, Bellapierre Gel Eyeliner, a Pink Parcel branded Nail File, Freeman Beauty Foot Scrub/Lotion, Cranberries & Cream Patisserie De Bain Hand Cream, Fab Little Bags, some Bahlsen Choco Leibniz Biscuits (I ate these before I managed to take a picture, oops!) and La Vie Del Te Tisana Sweet Relax Tea. All of this, including the sanitary products, for just £10.50 including P&P!? The beauty products alone have a RRP of over £45!
Overall, I absolutely loved the Pink Parcel – it put a smile on my face and actually made me not dread that time of the month! I am definitely going to keep up my subscription – I’m already so excited for my next box!
