My recent stay with ME London

I’ve had the pleasure of recently staying with ME London for one night on two occasions over the past month, and I wanted to share my experiences.

I can most definitely start off by saying that the first impressions of the hotel are just jaw dropping – every inch of the hotel has been so meticulously designed to give a sleek, classy and modern finish.

As you enter, you are greeted with warm smiles whilst your luggage is stored by the helpful doormen. You are then escorted up to the main reception located on the first floor. It is here where the magnificence of the hotel really hits you – the reception is inside a large pyramid, with marbled walls, which extends up for storeys to the top of the building. Words cannot describe the beauty of this, and it is unlike anywhere I have ever stayed before.

You are welcomed with a glass of prosecco as you check in, and are then escorted to your room.

Inside the room, again, every small thing has been thought of to give that 5* finish. Everything can be tucked away behind doors to ensure the room looks tidy and minimalistic. The bed was absolutely huge and super comfortable on both occasions. The bathroom was my favourite part of the room – the huge mirror over his and hers sinks (my favourite!) was topped off with a greeting or quote, and a large rainfall shower with an extendable hose for your body meant we could relax and pamper after a long day of walking.

On our first stay, I had selected a package which got us a few extras as we were staying for our anniversary – a personalised mirror message, free drinks at the bar, chocolates and Moët made the stay extra special. I had also arranged a little surprise, so when we returned from dinner there were candles, roses and another fresh bottle of Moët waiting for us.

On our second stay, we were lucky enough to have chocolate dipped strawberries, a bouquet of flowers and more Moët waiting for us! I would love to see their store room full of champagne!

We stayed in a room with a balcony on both occasions. I would definitely recommend a River facing room – you can see The Shard, Somerset House and the London Eye whereas on the other side of the hotel, whilst still having a nice view, does not allow for any ‘touristy’ sights.

Breakfast on both occasions was divine – I love a good buffet! We chose not to have any hot food but saw those around us having a variety from full english breakfasts to smoked salmon on toast. Instead, I indulged in pain au chocolat’s (my absolute all-time fave) and fruit.

Overall, ME London was a very personalised, attentive hotel with a stunning interior. I only wish we were able to stay for more than one night!
