So, when my March Glossybox arrived the other day, it suddenly dawned on me that I hadn’t even uploaded my February Glossybox review. Oops. Is it really March already?!
The February Glossybox was featured around Valentine’s Day so had a beautiful box with the cutest little doodle ever! Definitely a box to keep (and it also made an oh so perfect backdrop for my Valentine’s Day Nail Inspiration post!).
The first product to grab my attention was the Wilkinson Sword Intuition Razor. I actually was sent a sensitive Intuition razor in my Glossybox previously, and it quickly became my favourite razor, so when this month I received the normal Intuition razor I was thrilled! I just honestly think it is the best razor I have ever used – the big handle makes it so much easier to hold (especially when your hands are wet or you drop it in the bath) and the big block of soap around the razor just makes the razor glide so well without needing to worry about using shaving foam. I prefer to use this razor on my underarms and anywhere I am more likely to suffer from ingrown hairs, as it definitely reduces the chances of this.
In the February box, I was also lucky enough to receive a luxury size Naobay Protective Hair Mask Volume Conditioner. I love Naobay as a brand – they focus on sourcing their ingredients from natural, organic farming, which is important in today’s world. I also love their image in terms of their colour scheme – they are so minimalistic and their bottles are always something that would like classy and simple on a bathroom shelf. The hair mask itself leaves my hair soft and silky, although unfortunately did not control my frizz as much as I would have liked it to.
This MUA PowerPout Glaze Gloss reminds me of one I had as a child where you twist the lid and the product comes up through the bristles, so this gets points for nostalgic factor! The brush makes it quite easy to apply, and I much prefer it to a standard doe’s foot applicator. It has a fairly thick consistency, which is great for colour stay and shine, but not so great when its windy and your hair gets stuck to your lips. But, for £3.50 I think it is a great bargain.
This Nicka K New York eyeliner pencil is my favourite of all products this month. It is a dark brown, and all I can say is I absolutely love it! Being brown, it can also double up as an emergency eyebrow pencil, so it’s great to pop in your bag for a night out if you’re low on clutch space. It wasn’t until I went on the website that I realised it has a built in hidden sharpener to ensure the tip stays nice and pointed – amazing! The product stays on all day too, and it doesn’t budge at all.
Overall, I was just so impressed with this month’s box. Glossybox seem to be upping the game every month! Have you ever tried any of these products? Let me know in the comments below! If you fancy grabbing a box for yourself, sign up using my invite link (it gets me points towards a free box!).
