Broadditch Farm Easter Bunny Hunt 🐰🐣

Looking for something to do over the Easter bank holiday weekend? Head to @broadditchfarmshop for their Easter Bunny Hunt!

Take a stroll through their woodland area, searching for bunny rabbits along the path. There’s a few hidden surprises to help keep the children entertained along the way, as well as a small picnic area with a small wooden castle and tractor to play on. Don’t forget duck food to feed the ducks - or I think you can pop into the farm shop to buy some!

It’s a short trail, but fairly buggy friendly and a beautiful woodland setting with lots of bluebells.

Don’t forget to take your completed trail sheet back to the barn afterwards for a toy prize! I loved that children could choose a decent prize rather than just getting a small chocolate like some other trails tend to do.

P.S - Be warned: the prize collection area in the barn does have an enticing gift shop full of toys set up too.

⏰ The Easter bunny hunt is on until Sunday 27th April during the farm shop’s regular opening hours.

Local to Ebbsfleet? Visit the Castle Hill Easter Fair on Sunday 13th April between 11am and 5pm.

Hosted by @ebbsfleeteventscommittee, there’s a ton of small businesses with stalls including homewares, fashion, art, jewellery, hot food, coffee, bakeries and more! There are activities for children, an art competition, visits from the local choir, the chance to sit in the driver’s seat on a new electric bus and SO much more.

It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re local - tie it in with a walk round the lake, feed the ducks and swans some duck food (no bread, please!) and finish up playing in the play park or having a game of table tennis. A perfect half term family day out!

🚗 There is a car park on Cherry Orchard Road or local road parking - please be mindful of residents.

Is this THE most family friendly hotel in the UK?!

@moonfleetmanor in Dorset has the most amazing facilities for families including this MASSIVE play barn full of entertainment for all the family. I’m talking free arcade games, pool tables, table tennis, trampolines, football, climbing wall, balance ropes, a gaming zone, an enclosed area for younger children with soft play, play frames, wooden houses, a play kitchen, dollhouse, books and bean bags, duplo, busy boards and SO much more! There’s even a viewing area for parents with a free coffee machine and taking a bottle of wine in from the bar to enjoy is very much encouraged!

Inside the grounds of the hotel you’ve ALSO got a cinema room with 2 evening movies (free popcorn, milk and cookies are available from reception!), a bookcase full of books to enjoy, free yoto players to borrow for the duration of your stay, squash courts, a private snooker room, a skittles alley, dinosaur mini golf, tennis courts, science lab, escape room, swimming pool, sand pit and playground.

I can’t forget about the OFSTED registered kid’s club called the Four Bear’s Den where you can get up to 2 hour’s free childcare per night stay!

I’ve probably even forgotten some of the facilities they have to offer as there is honestly SO much!

I will never stop recommending this hotel. If you have kids, it’s a MUST visit.
