JewelleryBox is a brand that I’ve seen pop up a few times in the blogging community – their cute, dainty pieces tied together with their oh so insta worthy packaging makes for the perfect blog post. So when I was invited to their #KarmaMoments Launch blogging event, I jumped at the chance! We even got to pick a necklace beforehand – I was so excited!
A dash across London from Mayfair to Highbury & Islington meant I arrived fashionably late (and a tad sweaty) but thankfully there were plenty of other bloggers still around to mingle with. I met the lovely Charlotte and Natasha, who are new bloggers to me, as well as meeting Jasmine from Soeursdeluxe and Jess, the founder of the #fblchat who I had seen floating around on Twitter before. It’s so great to be able to put a face to the twitter handle! The girls were all so lovely and I really enjoyed getting to know them all. Me and Natasha have even organised to go to another event together, and I now have lots of new blogs to catch up on!
So, let’s get onto the event itself…. the event was organised by Scarlett and wow was it impressive! The whole room was decorated perfectly – I’m in love with the cute little easels that were dotted around! There were plenty of necklaces around too so we could see all of the different designs in the new Karma Moments range. There were even branded cupcakes and a pic n mix to nibble on, as well as cocktails provided by Fine Cocktails. Perfect!
What is this new Karma Moments range all about? Each design is unique to you – it’s not just a bog standard design that is exactly the same as every other one on the shelf, so to speak. The pieces can be personalised – initials, birthstones and engraving are all options which you can use to mark a special occasion. I love personalised items as they make for the perfect gift, but what I love most about the Karma Moments range is the thought behind it. The ring around each of the pendants and designs is to signify the ‘framing’ of that particular moment, date, event in your life that you are trying to capture. Cute or what?!
We were lucky enough to pick a necklace beforehand from the range, and when we got to the event we sat down and assembled it together! Jewellery making is deffo a fun little blogging event. Whilst I do make beaded jewellery at home myself, I’m new to metal jewellery and boy were the jump rings fiddly. I was so happy with the finished product, though! My necklace is the Birthstone and Initial necklace* – a ‘J’ for Jodie and Alexandrite for my birth month – June.
How gorgeous is the necklace?! It’s great quality, too – I especially love the chain. Even though it is dainty it is really strong! You can get your hands on the Karma Moments range here. I’m especially loving the Rose Gold Twisted Rope design and Twisted Heart design!
