Why you should buy Jacques the Peacock

The Lamaze Jacques the Peacock is a bright and inviting toy, with a lovely peacock design. Each feather of the peacock has a unique design, meaning there’s plenty for your baby to look at.

Jacques the Peacock is great for all ages – even from newborn! The underside of the feathers have bold, striking black and white patterns, which help stimulate even the youngest of babies. As your baby grows older, they’ll begin to take interest in the front of the peacock, which is full of bright colours, different textures and things to do. There’s ribbons to try and grab at and hidden squeakers to try to press which are both great for developing fine motor skills. With plenty of sensory elements, Jacques the Peacock is up there in terms of being developmentally beneficial (as a new mum, you feel SO much pressure to try to hit those developmental milestones, am I right?!) as opposed to only superficially entertaining. It truly is a toy that will grow and age with your child, with only more for your child to discover as their skills develop.

Another reason I recommend the Lamaze Jacques the Peacock is the fact that it’s mobile and can be hooked onto many different environments. From play gyms to the pram, it can both stay indoors or come with you on your daily activities to provide a wealth of entertainment for your little one. We love hooking ours onto the Skip Hop Vibrant Village Activity Gym, and also attaching it to our Uppababy Vista for when we’re out and about!

How much is the Lamaze Jacques the Peacock?

The Lamaze Jacques the Peacock retails at around £10-13.

In my opinion, it’s very reasonably priced and well worth it! It also makes a great but inexpensive gift.

Overall, I would highly recommend Jacques the Peacock for all babies from newborn. It would make a great birthday or Christmas present!
